Experts to discuss the future of nonprofit postage rates and how to cut mailing costs at DC Event

Electronic forms of communications may be expanding in both variety and popularity (think of social media, e-mail, texting, and e-delivery), but there are some things that simply require printed, mailed content, especially in the nonprofit environment.

Pitney Bowes, in conjunction with the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers, is hosting an event tomorrow, April 12, on “The Future of Nonprofit Postage Rates and How to Cut Mailing Costs.” It will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington, 1000 H St., NW, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. A light breakfast will be served, and attendees will participate in a drawing for a new iPad ™.

We will discuss the strengths and drawbacks of the various forms of communications, new postage regulations and potential rate increases, and how to structure customer communications management solutions that optimize the utilization of all the available mediums.

As part of the presentation we will present a case study that demonstrates the efficacy of multi-channel communications solutions, including ways for smaller nonprofits to attain economies of scale.

Guest speakers for the event include:
• Anthony W. Conway, Executive Director, Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers
• Doug King, Direct Mail Strategies, United States Postal Service HQ
• Robert J. Mattis, Customer Communications Management, Pitney Bowes Management Services

If you'd like to attend, please RSVP to Tenisha Ramsay, 203-351-7302 or tenisha.ramsay@pb.com.
